1. Check Your Power Supply
- Make sure the wall switch that controls your ceiling fan is turned ON.
- Check your home's electrical panel (breaker box) to ensure the circuit breaker for the ceiling fan is ON and has not tripped. If it has, reset it.
- Crucial Step: After checking, turn the wall switch OFF and back ON again. This resets the receiver.
2. Check Wiring Connections
- SAFETY FIRST: Always turn off power at the breaker before checking wires!
- Remove the fan's canopy cover and inspect all wire connections to the receiver. Ensure they are tight and secure.
- Pay special attention to the Black (Live/Hot), White (Neutral), and Green/Yellow (Ground) wires.
Issue 2: Remote cannot control fan or light
1. Check Remote Battery
- Check that the +/- signs on the battery match the diagram in the battery compartment.
- This is the most common fix! Please replace it with a brand new battery, even if the old one tests OK. Low voltage is often the issue.
Issue 3: Fan is not reversing
