The ASCO 8040H008 is a normally closed, direct acting 2-way/2-position solenoid valve designed for gas pilot control of commercial and industrial gas burners. It operates with a 120V AC coil and includes the coil and sealing components. Constructed with an aluminum body and NBR seals, this valve controls the flow of fuel oil and gas. It has a maximum gas capacity of 64,400 BtuH and a flow coefficient (Cv) of 1.2. The valve can be installed horizontally or vertically and is rated for indoor and outdoor environments with an ambient temperature range from -40°F to 125°F.
