GekoGear Orbit D220 2K Quad HD AI Front and Rear Dash Cam OrbitD220

The GekoGear Orbit D220 is a dual-channel dash cam for drivers who want front-and-rear road coverage, recording 2K video in front and 1080p in rear, with a 32GB microSD card included.

Recommended For

• Daily commuters who want front-and-rear road footage for documenting incidents, with GPS logging and loop recording in one system.
• Drivers of older vehicles who want on-screen collision, pedestrian, lane-departure, and stop-and-go prompts without replacing their car’s safety systems.
• Drivers who prefer checking or managing footage from the device’s 3-inch screen, rather than relying entirely on a phone app or computer.
• Drivers who want to review or share clips on a compatible smartphone, with Wi-Fi transfers and GPS trip information available through the app.

Real-World Use Scenarios

• During a daily commute, the D220 can record the road ahead and behind; if an incident occurs, emergency clip locking can help preserve the relevant footage from routine loop recording.
• In heavy traffic or during a lane-change dispute, the front and rear recordings can provide views of events on both sides of the car, rather than only what happened ahead.
• On a longer drive, GPS logging can help the driver review where a recorded event happened and see the trip’s route and speed information.
• In stop-and-go traffic or on roads with pedestrians, the D220’s driver alerts can provide prompts about a moving vehicle ahead, possible collision risks, or lane drift; they are alerts, not a replacement for the driver’s attention.
• After a close call, a driver can use the Wi-Fi connection and compatible app to transfer a clip to a phone for review without first removing the memory card.
