The Icom M424 is the worlds first fixed-mount VHF with active noise canceling and Class D DSC. M424 delivers superior performance in a compact package and features Icoms most intuitive user interface. The built-in bidirectional active noise cancelling reduces background noise to up to 90% and improves both your transmitted voice and incoming call. The IC-M424 has a built-in 10W amplifier which increases the audio output from additional external speaker, with public address function allows you to make an announcement from the microphone like a loud speaker, and the foghorn can also be emitted from the additional external speaker.

This VHF's DSC functions include distress, individual, group, all ships, urgency, safety, position request/report, polling request and DSC test calls. M424 also features smart touch soft key human interface, built-in PA, AquaQuake™, IPX7 waterproof rating, and direct compatibility with Icoms MA-500TR AIS transponder and the new CommandMic IV.
