Yes! While switching power supplies are naturally more efficient and compact than linear ones, the HOTECHE 30V 5A model features advanced internal filtering to minimize output ripple and noise.
How does the "Constant Current (CC)" mode work? Will it protect my LED or circuit from burning out?
The CC mode is your primary safety feature. You can pre-set a maximum current (e.g., 20mA for an LED). If your circuit tries to pull more than that, the power supply will automatically lower the voltage to maintain that exact current limit.
What happens if I accidentally short-circuit the output leads while it's turned on?
The HOTECHE power supply is equipped with robust Short-Circuit and Overload Protection. In the event of a short, the unit will immediately enter Constant Current (CC) mode or trigger its protection circuit to limit the output.
