How to Set the Vivosun Programmable Digital Timer
1. Set the Current Time: Press the "CLOCK" button and simultaneously press either the "WEEK", "HOUR" or "MIN" button to set the day, hour and minute.
2. Set the Programs: Press the "PROG" button to enter the "1 ON" program. Press the "WEEK", "HOUR" and "MIN" buttons to select the desired day, hour and minute. Press the "PROG" button again to enter the "1 OFF" time setting and repeat the procedure to select the day, hour and minute to turn off the unit. Repeat these steps to enter "2 ON", "2 OFF" program, "3 ON", "3 OFF" program, and so on. The maximum number of setting groups is 20 ON/OFF. (Press the "CLOCK" button to exit the program setting and return to the current time. )
3. Countdown Function: Press the "WEEK" and "DEL" buttons simultaneously to enter the countdown function. Press the "MODE" button to switch the ON or OFF of Countdown Mode. Press the "WEEK", "HOUR", "MIN" and "DEL" buttons to select the desired day, hour, minute and second. Press the "PROG" button to start your countdown work and you can press the "PROG" button to pause and continue the countdown during you countdown work. Press the "WEEK" button to recover or cancel your countdown setting (you must press the "PROG" button to pause your timer first). Press the "Week+Del" buttons simultaneously to exit the countdown mode.
4. Set Summer Time (Daylight Saving Time): This function allows the timer to adjust the current time on the timer one hour ahead to accommodate the daylight savings. Press the "HOUR" and "MIN" buttons to set the daylight saving time setting, press the "HOUR" and "MIN" button simultaneously to cancel the summer time setting.
5. Set Anti-thief Function: Press the "WEEK" and "HOUR" buttons simultaneously to activate the random mode, press the "WEEK" and "HOUR" buttons simultaneously to cancel the anti-thief function.
