Fits many 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2002 Chevy and GMC Truck Mount (NOT S10, S10 Blazer, Jimmy, Sonoma) AM FM CD Radio with Aux Input & RCA Output for your high performance amplifier. Please note that Blazers use both mounts depending on the body. This is a truck slide mount. This radio has been upgraded by us with auxiliary input and RCA output on 2 foot cables coming out of the rear of the radio. You can mount it, or place it in the location you wish.
The aux input can be used for your iPod, satellite radio, streaming phone audio, mp3 player, or any other portable audio device. It is a direct link to the radios amplifier, so there is no loss of frequency response, and no annoying snap crackle and pop you get with FM adapters. Hear your audio device through all the speakers nice and clean. To operate the auxiliary input just plug your device in and the radio will automatically detect the input and change to that source. Use the bass, treble, fader, and balance on your radio.
The aux has no effect on the remote cd player just use it as you always did. The RCA output is for high-end external amplifiers. Fully rebuilt including all of the miserable little light bulbs in the face. All features are 100%! This radio has the clip in mounts. Appearance is very good and function is perfect. All knobs, Volume, Tune, Fade, Balance, Bass and Treble, have been replaced and are new. This radio will not require dealer turn on as it is plug and play.
