You will not lose any functionality when the auxiliary input is in use and the radio will have all factory OEM features! The mp3 function on this radio allows the radio to play mp3 formatted CDs. Operation of the iPod jack is a snap. Just plug your accessory in and you will be listening to it through all of your car speakers. Tired of listening to static over your FM modulated satellite radio? Just plug it right in and listen to satellite radio the way it is supposed to sound! Use the volume control on the radio as you usually would.
It is the same with the bass, treble, fader, and balance. Press the clock button and you have clock display.
