Should I use a TDS meter to test water quality?
TDS meters detect positively charged salts and impurities in water. However, disinfection chemicals like chlorine and chloramine do not affect water conductivity—so TDS meters CANNOT measure these key contaminants.
How often should I replace the filter cartridge?
We recommend replacing the cartridge every 4-6 months (or sooner based on water usage) to ensure your shower filter maintains optimal filtration performance.
Why does it leak?
This may be caused by excessive Teflon tape wrapping. We recommend wrapping it 2-3 turns, or you can even omit the Teflon tape entirely—our product is equipped with a built-in gasket to prevent water leakage.
