Question 1

I'm looking for a floppy drive to work with Windows 10. Can anyone tell me if this one would work. Or, indeed, if any would work? I have a ton of floppies I'd love to access!

I can't tell you, since I bought it for use with a Linux system.  What I can say is that when I loaded the MSDOS file system driver, then put in a floppy, it was read perfectly.  I have to assume that the same would be true of Win 10, if such a driver is available.  If you get one, simply plug it in, then pop in a disk.  With any luck, it will come right up.  One thing, though; it comes from China, so there can be a bit of a wait after you order it.  Good luck!

If it works like the one I ordered and recieved, it comes on but will read no diskettes, it was worthless. (by the way it ships from China so it won't come anytime soon)

yes, I believe it should work fine. Keep in mind floppies are becoming dinosaurs, most people are using flash drives instead.

Installed on Windows 10, but it was a headache. Install disk useless. Should work fine on Windows 7. Use USB 2 port.

Oh but to answer your question it is compatible with windows 10 but since it won't read any formatted diskettes it is worthless unless you plan to write to new diskettes. I didn't try that. My purpose was to read the stacks of diskettes I have and get off old information.
