Q1: Why can’t the device connect to Wi-Fi?
A: This smart dimmer plug supports2.4GHz Wi-Fi only (NOT 5GHz). Please ensure your phone is connected to a 2.4GHz network during setup. Try both EZ Mode and AP Mode.
Q2: Why is the plug not responding to Alexa or Google Home?
A: Make sure you have enabled the skill and linked your account in Alexa or Google Home. Then use “Discover Devices” to sync. The plug must be online in the app before voice control will work.
Q3: Why won’t my lights dim or why are they flickering?
A: This dimmer works only with standard dimmable bulbs. Please ensure: LED / CFL bulbs = 150W per outlet, Incandescent bulbs = 300W per outlet. Do NOT use smart bulbs, transformers, or non-dimmable lights, as this may cause flickering or failure to dim.
Q4: What devices are not compatible with this product?
A: This product is designed for lighting only and is NOT compatible with smart bulbs, ceiling fans, motorized devices, or low-voltage/transformer-based systems. Using incompatible devices may result in malfunction.
Q5: Can this plug be used outdoors?
A: Yes, this product is rated IP64 and suitable for outdoor use. However, it should be protected from heavy rain, water immersion, or extreme weather to ensure safe and stable operation.
