Does this dash cam record even if it is not connected to wifi? Can I use cellular internet?
Yes, the dash cam can record with no WiFi connection. WiFi is a hub WiFi, only for phone connection via app, not for internet. To use cellular internet, simply disconnect the camera Wi-Fi. The dashcam will still record automatically without WiFi.
Will the car battery drain if the dash cam light stays on after parking?
Yes, it will. If your cigarette lighter provides constant power, unplug the dash cam when parked or use a compatible hardwire kit(not included, search B0CL756HDL to buy if needed) with low-voltage protection to prevent battery drain.
If the Dashcam APP ("GKU GO" APP) can't connect to WiFi or for a stead WiFi connection what should I do?
Allow all app permissions (photos, location, WLAN, cellular), Disable VPN/Bluetooth/security apps, and Stay within 3m of the dashcam. Disconnect CarPlay/Android Auto when use GKU GO app. If issues persist, reset dashcam, reinstall app or find us.
How is this dash cam powered?
This dash cam supports three power options: a included car charger, a compatible USB cable (sold separately), or a hardwire kit for 24/7 parking mode (search B0CL756HDL, sold separately) to keep recording when the car is off.
Does the package include an SD card? How do I use the SD card?
Yes. The dash cam comes with a pre-installed 64GB memory card. If you need a larger capacity card, please purchase/use a Class 10, U3 speed SD card, and format the SD card in the GKU GO app before first use.
