The IMX219-160 camera module adopts original Sony IMX219 8-megapixel CMOS image sensor, which outputs sharp, high-definition still pictures and smooth video streams with excellent light sensitivity, stable performance under normal indoor and outdoor lighting conditions.
The built-in wide-angle lens achieves an impressive 160° field of view, covering a much larger shooting area than standard narrow-angle cameras, effectively reducing dead zones in visual collection and ideal for close-range panoramic monitoring and peripheral scanning.
This camera uses the standard Raspberry Pi CSI camera interface with a flexible FPC ribbon cable for connection. It is natively supported by Raspberry Pi 5, as well as Jetson Nano developer kits without complicated driver modification. The PCB is miniaturized for easy fixation with reserved mounting holes, convenient to embed into DIY robots, smart access control devices, edge computing terminals and small monitoring equipment.
It supports multiple mainstream image resolutions and frame rate configurations, works perfectly with OpenCV, Python programming scripts and official system camera tools on both Raspberry Pi and Jetson platforms. Widely used in student electronic competitions, artificial intelligence object identification, intelligent car visual tracking, home security monitoring, QR code scanning and industrial non-contact visual inspection embedded projects.
Note: Raspberry Pi 5 and Jetson Nano main boards are not included in the package.
