This product is only compatible with BMW vehicles equipped with a 3-Pin Rain Sensor Port. Before purchasing, check behind your rearview mirror for a 3-pin connector this is the only factor determining compatibility. You can inspect it by removing the mirror cover or looking behind the mirror for a plastic 3-pin socket, often used by the rain sensor. If this port is present, the adapter will plug in directly with no splicing or modifications needed
