About this item
The dash cam OBD power cable is suitable for all Type-C USB port electronic devices. It is designed to provide a continuous power supply 24 hours after parking for in-car devices like dash cams, mirror recorders, mobile phones, tablets, etc.
Important: Parking Mode Usage & Battery Risk. This cable supports dash cam parking mode (NOT "24-Hour Surveillance"). Actual parking mode runtime is strongly limited by your vehicle's battery capacity, health, and device power consumption. Prolonged use can drain your battery, potentially leaving your vehicle unable to start. The low-voltage cutoff (11.6V) is a last-resort safety feature and does not guarantee your battery will retain enough charge to start. Use parking mode responsibly and at your own risk.
ACC mode switch/24-hour parking: "MODE O" activates ACC mode, providing power only when the engine starts; it powers off 10-200 seconds after the engine is turned off, with the exact time depending on the car's factory settings. "MODE -" activates the driving recorder parking mode for 24-hour monitoring. If the voltage drops below 11.6V, power will be cut off.
Low voltage protecting OBD power adapter: Built-in Low Voltage Protection (LVP) allows the intelligent chip to monitor battery voltage. To prevent complete battery drain, it automatically cuts power output when voltage falls below 11.6V. Note: 11.6V is a deep discharge level; reaching it may still impact battery health and starting ability.
