Please note that this plug alone is insufficient, and the Auto-Dimming function is still necessary. Without a manual switch: the Auto-Dimming function and GM's OnStar function are present. With a manual switch: the Auto-Dimming function is absent, but GM's OnStar function is available. Please be aware that your vehicle must have an Auto-Dimming Rearview Mirror Plug Power Adapter (10Pin square plug). Otherwise, power can only be sourced from the OBD port or the fuse box.
