The DSL06 does not require a neutral wire for installation. It works with existing wiring and can replace any standard wall switch.
What is the difference between a single pole or 3-way installation?
Single pole is controlling the light(s) from one location. 3-way is the ability to control the light(s) from two separate locations. The dimmer switch is in the first location and a 3-way switch in the second location.
What will happen if I mix bulb types with the DSL06 dimmer?
We recommend using the same bulb type to achieve consistent performance. Mixing bulb types could lead to a variation in dimming performance and unpredictable start up characteristics.
