OVERVIEW

The Bridgestone R238 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on the vehicle in all axle positions.

The tire promotes a longer lasting tread life. The durable compound and the symmetric ribbed tread design work together to lengthen the tread life by preventing premature and irregular wear formations. The compound's wear-resistant rubber materials slow the tread wear rate down, while the symmetric tread ensures even pressure distribution along the tread area. The stronger shoulder pattern and the sidewall construction prevent damage to the tire. The shoulder pattern avoids the tread's chipping, cracking and tearing, while the sidewall protects the tire against punctures, cuts and other damage to extend its service life and usability.

The tread design features a symmetric ribbed pattern. This tread design enables the tire to closely follow the road surface while the tires are in motion. The maintained road contact increases the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. In this manner, the steering becomes faster and more precise in its response to the driver's commands, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the model. This combination ensures the driver's control over the vehicle throughout its performance, guaranteeing high driving safety levels.

The R238 was manufactured with Bridgestone's special NanoPro-Tech polymer compound technology. This compound increases the tire's traction and eases the driving pressure off its surface. Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
