225/40R18 92Y XL - Bridgestone Potenza Sport High Performance Tire

Bridgestone Potenza Sport

The Bridgestone Potenza Sport is a high performance, summer tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. Great summer weather traction is promoted with this model, thanks to the silica compound and asymmetric tread design.

Hydroplaning is also effectively prevented. The tread's surface contact enhances controllability, while the compound and stronger structure enable its secure high speed performance. By avoiding tread flexing, the footprint guarantees slow and even wear that lengthens the tread life. The Potenza Sport lowers road noise levels thanks to its tuned tread sequencing.

Features

• Summer Tire - The ultra-high silica compound and asymmetric tread design significantly improve the tire's dry and wet weather traction.
• Handling - The specially designed footprint's consistent surface contact increases the tire's steering responsiveness and driving stability.
• Hydroplaning - The footprint's circumferential grooves evacuate water from below the tread, actively avoiding hydroplaning in the process.
• Longer Tread Life - The 3D sipe technology stabilizes the footprint, preventing tread flexing and irregular wear formations along the tread.
• Quiet Tire - The tuned tread sequencing greatly lowers road noise levels by negating sound waves created while the tires are in motion.
• Performance - The heat-resistant summer compound and the stronger structure enable the tire's secure high speed performance and durability.
