GT Radial Champiro HPY High Performance Tire - 215/45ZR17 91Y XL

GT Radial Champiro HPY

The GT Radial Champiro HPY is a high performance, summer tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. The silica-based compound and the asymmetric tread increase the dry and wet weather traction, while the wide circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning.

The maintained road contact enhances the steering responsiveness and driving stability. The outer tread area's optimized road contact boosts the cornering and maneuvering ability. These enhancements upgrade the model's high speed performing capability greatly. The Champiro HPY guarantees a quiet drive thanks to the asymmetric tread design.

Features

• Summer Tire - The silica-based compound and the asymmetric tread design enhance the dry and wet weather road gripping ability.
• Hydroplaning - The inner tread area and the circumferential grooves actively resist hydroplaning by eliminating water from the footprint.
• Cornering Ability - The outer shoulder tread design increases the road contact and with it the cornering ability and power with extra biting edges.
• Handling - The tread's solid center rib upgrades the steering responsiveness and driving stability greatly with the better road contact.
• Performance - The outer tread design, the center rib and the silica compound allow the model to perform to its best capability.
• Quiet Tire - The tread design's asymmetric pattern lowers the road noise levels heard in the vehicle's cabin, even at high speed driving.
