OVERVIEW

The Samson GL285T is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. This model was made for the vehicle's trailers. The tire has some trailer sizes as well, which should not be mounted on trucks.

All weather traction is promoted throughout the performance. The symmetric ribbed tread design and the all season compound enhance the dry, wet and winter weather grip. The ribbed pattern with the siping placement improves the grip on the road surface with extra biting edges, while the compound keeps the rubber flexibility in different temperatures. The grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from the footprint, greatly upgrading the wet weather driving safety levels.

The advanced compound and the better traction manage to ease the pressure off the tire. This combination minimizes the driving pressure affecting the tire, greatly reducing the rolling resistance. The rolling resistance is the pressure affecting the tire which determines the towing vehicle's fuel intake needed to keep the tires in motion. Reducing the rolling resistance, the tire promotes the towing vehicle's decreased fuel consumption and CO2 emission levels.
