The Yokohama 714R is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. This model was made for the vehicle's drive axle.

The tire optimizes the all weather traction. The durable all season compound and the open shoulder pattern with the siping and block pattern enhances the dry, wet and winter weather grip. This combination allows the tire to greatly improve the forward motion during the tire's versatile weather performance. The block and siping detail upgrade the number of biting edges gripping the road surface, while compound materials maintain their flexibility throughout the year. The groove placement avoids hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from the footprint, ensuring a safer wet weather performance.

The model offers a longer lasting tread life. The lengthened tread life is guaranteed with the tread design and the durable compound. The tread design's tie-bars stabilize the surface contact while the tires are in motion, ensuring even pressure distribution across the tread area. The tire avoids irregular wear formations across the tread area, preventing irregular wear formations. The stronger compound elements prevent premature wear formations, greatly improving the usability.
