The detailed pattern enables the tire to firmly grip the road surface throughout the year, while the compound maintains its rubber flexibility even in colder temperatures. While driving on-road, the tire's wide grooves and open shoulders help prevent hydroplaning. They disperse water and slush from below the footprint.
