OVERVIEW

The Thunderer Radial R501is a special all season trailer tire specifically manufactured for trailers. This model is a special trailer or ST tire. IT IS NOT MEANT TO BE USED ON PASSENGER OR LIGHT TRUCK VEHICLES.

This specific trailer tire provides excellent control to the towing vehicle, thanks to its firm sidewalls and constant road contact. The five-rib tread design's solid center rib improves the road contact by closely following the road surface. The great road contact is further increased by the tread design's superb all weather road gripping ability. The tire is capable of performing in dry, wet and light winter weather conditions which improve the traction and driving stability. The better stability increases the controllability of the trailer and offers a safer driving experience.

The model offer a longer lasting tread life. The tire starts with a deeper tread depth to ensure longer usability. The solid center rib's maintained road contact keeps the tire glued to the road surface and prevents irregular wear patterns from forming across the tread area. The combination of these two factors increase the tire's usability and tread life.

The Radial R501's internal structure features twin steel belts reinforced with a double jointless spiral overlay and a full nylon overlay. These increase the tire's load carrying capability by reinforcing its structure and provide strength and durability to the tire. The full nylon overlay also reinforces the tire against damages, such as tread separation. As a result, the tire is able to withstand and carry heavier weights and loads and has an overall stronger structure, making it perfect for mounting on trailers.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
