The Accelera Iota is a performance and high performance, all season tire for passenger vehicles and SUVs. The tire's tread pattern is designed to combine good traction for both wet and dry surfaces. The wet traction side of the tread pattern helps avoid hydroplaning, while the dry traction side of the pattern provides exceptional grip on dry roads.

The tire's stability and steering responsiveness is provided by the center rib in the pattern. The tire's weight was lowered, effectively reducing the rolling resistance, and this in turn reduces the fuel usage. The Iota offers a comfortable, smooth ride on the road.
