The Lancaster LP-16 is a performance, summer tire made for passenger vehicles and SUVs. This model has touring sizes available as well.

The special summer compound blend and the ribbed tread design work together to improve the tire's summer weather performance. They optimize its traction in dry and wet conditions. The consistent surface contact and ideal notch placement enhance the road grip, while the compound effectively prevents heat build-up across the tread area. Circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning as they evacuate water from below the footprint, ensuring the tire's surface contact.

The ribbed tread design also increases controllability. It maintains the road contact, enabling the tire to effectively enhance steering responsiveness and driving stability. In other words, it provides better control over the vehicle. The larger shoulder blocks provide additional biting edges, which effectively optimize the tire's cornering capability.
