GRADE A - This is not a standard boatyard resin; this Polyester Fiberglass Laminating Resin represents the highest quality available. Order 5 gallons and receive 5 x 2oz bottles of MEKP, 8 gallons includes 8 x 2oz MEKPs, and so forth. CURES COMPLETELY in 24-36hrs without wax - Apply this resin on Wood, Fiberglass, or Metal without any difficulty. Depending on temperature and humidity, it can achieve its cured state in as little as 4 hours but may require up to 24-36 hours depending on the quantity of MEKP added or if temperatures are below 72°F. If temperatures are very low it will take even more time. Cured resin exhibits a translucent color (NOT CLEAR). CURES TACK FREE (no wax is present in this resin) after 24-36hrs - This Ortho-type resin becomes tack free within 24-36hrs. For a quicker full cure / no tack; wax can be added to reduce tack time to under 24hrs. The set includes MEKP hardener, 1x 2oz bottle for each gallon of resin purchased.
