How did we get our start?
In the early 1920’s, Ralph K. Odor started work on a new airplane design. By the 1930’s, his patented Power Vortex design influenced modern aviation. The Vornado Plane derived its name from “Vortex” and “Tornado”, based on its pioneering aerodynamics.

Vornado 660 Whole Room Air Circulator Fan
The Vornado 660 features dramatic gloss and matte finishes and sleek lines. Its whole-room vortex action empowers the 660 to move air up to 100 feet. A chrome glide bar enables a full 90-degree tilt, and push-button controls located at the top of the product allow for easy selection of its four speed settings. Maintenance is simple with a detachable grill that provides easy access to the blades.

A Vornado circulator creates a unique airflow pattern called Vortex Action to circulate all the air in the room. The air flows fast, cool and constant to create a cooling experience unlike any other.

The 660 fluidly tilts between horizontal and vertical airflow positions along a chrome glide bar. The 660 further raises the bar with its intuitive push-button controls. Located conveniently at the top of the product, the user can effortlessly select among four speed settings ranging from whisper-quiet to turbo.
