Crimp-style plugs terminate the solid or stranded cable with a three-point staggered contact to provide a secure connection. Cat 5 crimp connectors are compatible with RJ45 Strain Relief Boots to protect the clip from accidental damage and bolster the integrity of the cable. Supports 23 to 28 AWG round or flat stranded wire with an outside diameter of up to 6.3mm.

Used with the appropriate crimping device, these connectors are a simple way to terminate eight-conductor internet wires with a male connector. Before making the connection, you need to strip about 1/4" of insulation off of the eight wires, ensure that they're properly oriented, and inserted them into the plug then crimp. The connection is then solid and reliable.
