This JST connector kit is a versatile solution. You can connect them using male/female plugs so that I can easily disconnect and remove an individual module for servicing if necessary, and then easily reinstall it without having to cut and re-solder a bunch of wires each time. It is often surprisingly hard to find suitable connectors.
