Are these connectors compatible with all COB LED strip lights?
Our 8mm 2-pin COB LED connectors are specifically designed for 8mm wide, 2-pin single color COB LED strip lights. They are not compatible with 10mm or RGB (4-pin/3-pin) strips.
Do I need any tools to install the connectors?
No tools are needed! Our solderless COB LED strip connectors for strip lights allow you to connect quickly and easily—simply align the strip and snap shut for a secure connection.
What should I check before connecting the strips?
Please make sure the positive (+) of the LED strip match correctly with gray wire("+" to gray wire) before pressing down the led strip light connectors. Incorrect polarity will cause the strip not to light up.
Is its power cord length sufficient for most setups?
Yes, the power cord length of the usb cable is 1.64ft and it is sufficient for most setups.
Can these connectors work with waterproof LED strips?
Yes! The COB LED strip light connector kit support IP20 non-waterproof and IP65 waterproof strips. For IP65 led strips, you do NOT need to remove the silicone coating on the surface.
