The Superlux HD990 150 is designed for critical monitoring in professional and dedicated studio systems. Its slim fully open rear housing allows unrestricted airflow around the 50mm neodymium drivers, helping reduce internal reflections and preserve spatial information in the recording. The result is natural depth, clear stereo positioning and an open presentation that supports detailed mix evaluation. An optimized magnetic system provides precise diaphragm control for defined low frequencies, fast transient response and dynamic detail across the 10Hz30kHz range. The 150 version is intended for equipment with stronger headphone outputs, including capable audio interfaces, mixing consoles and dedicated headphone amplifiers.
