The EPOS IMPACT 100 is a lightweight, wired stereo headset certified for Microsoft Teams, suited to office and remote workers who spend much of the day on calls and want an entry-level option.
Recommended For
- People who spend much of the workday on Microsoft Teams calls and want a lightweight stereo headset with call controls at the cable.
- Call-heavy office and contact-center staff who want a wired USB headset for frequent voice conversations without needing to charge a battery.
- Hybrid and home-office workers who stay near a computer during meetings and want a plug-in headset with USB-C and USB-A connectivity.
- Teams using supported unified-communications platforms that want a straightforward headset for calls, with an inline controller for common call tasks.
Real-World Use Scenarios
- For back-to-back Microsoft Teams meetings, a user can answer, mute, and adjust call volume from the inline controller; the wired connection avoids needing to charge or pair a headset.
- During a call-heavy workday at a desk or call center, the lightweight stereo headset is designed for extended wear, while its noise-cancelling microphone helps keep the user's voice clearer on calls.
- For working from home or a shared office, a user can take video calls on a supported meeting platform and keep both ears on the conversation; the microphone's noise-cancelling design is intended to reduce background noise picked up during calls.
- When moving between a USB-C laptop and a USB-A office computer, a user can connect the headset using its included adapter rather than needing a separate wireless dongle.
- For listening to training sessions, calls, or spoken content between meetings, the stereo version provides two-ear audio; a reviewer found its voice-focused sound clear for speech, though it is not positioned as a music-first headset.
