- 2) The SATA motherboard connected to the SAS hard disk must meet one of the following conditions, otherwise it cannot be used: your motherboard supports SAS, or your SAS hard disk supports SATA mode.
- 3) There are 2 ways to use this product:Method 1. Separate the data and power supply of the SATA hard disk interface, connect the motherboard SATA interface and power cable, and connect them directly. Before using the SATA motherboard, some motherboards must set the BIOS to AHCI mode (optional RAID mode for RAID)
- 4) Method 2: Separate the data and power supply of the SAS hard disk interface, connect the motherboard SAS interface SFF-8482 and the power cord, and connect directly.
- 5) This SAS adapter enables you to connect a SAS HDD with SFF 8482 port to a SAS compatible SATA controller (hybrid controller).
