INDUSTRIAL FTDI FT232RL CHIP USB TO 25PIN DB25 MALE CONNECTOR RS232 SERIAL ADAPTER CABLE FOR KANTRONICS KPC2 KPC-3+ AND ARM DEBIAN TNC KABLE This cable is designed to make connection between USB port and serial devices (RS232), NOT for parallel printer or other devices based on parallel protocol (IEEE-1284), even though both have DB25 connector. It is a USB to Serial cable with Software Handshaking using only three signals: TXD (2), RXD (3), RTS (4), CTS (5), GND (7). Please doubel check your devices setup prior to purchase. Works with Kantronics KPC2, KPC-3+ and ARM debian Successfully interfaced our Kantronics TNCs to a raspberry pi running Debian without a hitch. It has indicator lights inside the clear USB end to indicate activity. Connector appears to be well-assembled.
