Will this blender crush ice?
Yes! This blender easily crushes ice and frozen fruit. For best blending performance, include at least 1 cup of liquid (or enough to cover the blades).
Are the blades removable for cleaning?
Yes, the blades are removable from the glass jar for easy cleaning. Simply turn the collar counterclockwise to release the blades from the jar. Wash in hot, soapy water or place in the top rack of the dishwasher.
Is there a trick for getting the lid on and off easily?
To install lid, align pour spouts on the jar & lid. Press down on the spout side first, then press down evenly on the opposite side of the lid (near the jar handle). To remove the lid, press up on edge of lid near the handle.

Turn off the blender and remove the jar from the base. Turn the blender back on and run without the jar for 30 seconds (the fan will cool the motor). Let blender sit for 10 minutes, then use as normal.
