The Safe Easy Way To Trim Your Pet's Nails
- Squeeze the handles and release the blades.
- Turn on the LED light.
- Trim the nails slowly and carefully.
- Smooth out rough edges with the nail file.
*Note that the LED light may not work well on dark nails.

Trimming Tip
- Hold the paw firmly while trimming the nails. Use a single stroke to cut off the top of the nail quickly.
- Sure the handle at the bottom of the file makes the nail smooth.
- Avoid cutting off too much at once. If your pet’s nails are long, trim a small amount and wait about a week to ten days before trimming again. Repeat this process every week or ten days until the nails reach the desired length.
- Cut perpendicular to the nail, avoiding extreme angles and staying away from the quick.
