Yellow Hose: When filling with refrigerant, connect the center connector of the gauge (2) to the vacuum pump (4). When draining the refrigerant, connect the center connector of the gauge to the bottle opener
Red Hose: Connect high pressure gauge (3) and high pressure quick coupler (6) together. Then connect the high pressure quick coupler to the high pressure connector of car.
Before use, please ensure that the 6 position joints as shown in the figure are tightened so that the kit can work properly during operation incase of leakage.
Why can't quick couplers connect to my cars refrigerant port?
The included quick couplers are specifically designed for R134a automotive refrigerant systems. Models with R1234yf/others require compatible couplers.
My system does not work and does not vacuum.
Read intallation guide above before use the gauge kit. Most cases are leaks or closed valves. Re-tighten all connections, fully open blue & red valves, and ensure yellow hose goes to pump. Spray soap water to find bubbles-thats the leak.
Why cant the the vacuum pump reach full vacuum?
90 % cases are leaks or closed valves. Re-tighten all connections, fully open blue & red valves, and ensure yellow hose goes to pump. Spray soap water to find bubbles-thats the leak.
My pump appears to be leaking oil. What should I do?
First, check if the oil drain/fill screw is tight. If so, stains might be condensed oil mist from long-term use, not a leak.
