Does this kit include both SAE and metric sizes? I need it for my air suspension system.
Yeah, it covers both 5 SAE (1/8 to 1/2") and 5 metric (4mm to 12mm). Perfect for air suspension, compressor lines, pneumatic tools, air horns, spray equipment, and even DIY automation projects. No more hunting for adapters.
Is this a good value compared to buying individual fittings?
Way better value. Buying these individually would cost 3-4x more, and you'd have to chase down each size. Works out to like $ 0.21 a piece, and it comes with a cutter and tape. it's a no-brainer to stock your shop.
Do these fittings hold up under continuous air pressure? Some fittings I've used feel flimsy.
These are nickel-plated brass and PBT, not cheap zinc alloy solid feel and holds pressure with zero leaks. The internal clip and O-ring lock in way tighter than expected. No issues on my setup. But hey, returns are easy if anything's off.
How are the different sizes organized in the case? I don't want to waste time sorting through a pile.
Case has labeled compartments for each size clear lid so you can see. Just grab the one you need without dumping everything out. Comes with a tube cutter too. I keep them in their slots after use, stays organized.
How do I properly install these push-to-connect fittings? Any tips to avoid leaks?
Clean, square cut is key included cutter does this best. If using scissors, make sure the tube end is flat. Push tube all the way in until it stops, then tug to confirm. Use PTFE tape on NPT threads. Fitting swivels after connecting to prevent kinks
