Alloy traction coils covering the crossmember add more bite in snow and ice. The light-weight and simple construction offers a smooth, quiet ride. Radial Chain is available in passenger and light truck sizes. A. E. The plastic package is durable, waterproof and recyclable. This package works well for retail display as well as long-term consumer use. Chain tighteners should not be used. Replacement cross members are available through some retailers and require a special tool for installation.
