The GLOTRENDS ST7293 brings gigabit fiber connectivity to any computer with a USB 3.0 port. With both USB Type-C and USB-A connectors on one cable, it works across modern laptops, mini PCs and legacy desktops alike no extra adapter required. The open 100/1000Base-X SFP slot accepts the module your network uses: 1000Base-SX for multimode runs inside a building, 1000Base-LX for single-mode links between buildings, or 100Base-FX for legacy fiber plants (module sold separately). Fiber delivers what copper cannot galvanic isolation that blocks ground loops and surge paths, immunity to electromagnetic interference, and distances far beyond copper's 100-meter ceiling. Setup is plug and play: driver-free on current Windows, macOS and Linux.
