Extend your network well beyond the usual 328 ft. (100 m) limit without adding extra power supplies. Our PoE Extender pulls power right from your existing PoE+ or PoE switch/injector and lets you daisy-chain up to 4 extenders for a total reach of 1,640 ft. (500 m).
With one extender, you get 25 W of power up to 656 ft (200 m); each additional extender adds another 328 ft. (100 m) while drawing approximately 4W apiece. When using 4 extenders together, you can reach a max distance of 1,640 ft. (500 m) at about 12 W. See our chart below!
Fully compliant with IEEE 802.3af/at standards and supporting 10/100/1000 Mbps data rates, it works well with PoE and PoE+ devices however its not compatible with IEEE 802.3bt (PoE++).
