- Use the front-panel switch to select Normal, Flow Control Off, VLAN, or Network Extend mode. VLAN mode isolates ports 1 through 14 while preserving communication with ports 15 and 16.
- Extend a wired connection up to 820 feet at 10 Mbps with Network Extend mode. The switch also supports jumbo frames up to 9 kBytes, 802.3x full-duplex flow control, and half-duplex backpressure.
- Handle connected computers, printers, servers, and other Ethernet devices with 32 Gbps switching capacity, store-and-forward architecture, 512 kBytes of buffer memory, and an 8,192-entry MAC address table.
