Power and connect up to eight compatible devices with this unmanaged Gigabit PoE+ switch. Eight RJ45 ports provide data and power over a single Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a, or Cat8 cable, with auto-detection so non-PoE devices receive data only. The switch supports IEEE 802.3af and IEEE 802.3at, delivers up to 30W per port, and offers a 60W total PoE budget for devices such as IP cameras, VoIP phones, and wireless access points. A built-in Powered Device Monitor helps maintain network stability by automatically restarting a connected PoE device that stops responding or sending traffic. Selectable VLAN isolation mode separates ports 2 through 8 while still allowing communication with uplink port 1. Extend mode reduces port speed to 10 Mbps and extends PoE and data reach up to 250 m, or 820 ft, making it useful for longer camera runs. Designed for quiet desktop use, the metal housing is fanless and includes non-slip rubber feet. Performance features include 16 Gbps switching capacity, store-and-forward architecture, a 2K MAC table, 1 Mbit buffer memory, and jumbo frame support up to 16 KB. Additional protection features include surge, ESD, overload, and short-circuit protection, plus a grounding point and status LEDs for power, link/activity, and PoE. The switch measures 3.7 x 6.61 x 1.26 in and weighs 1.34 lb.
