The YealinkRCH240 is a 24-port L2+ managed network switch designed for large-scale AV over IP and professional network installations. With 24 Gigabit RJ45 PoE+ ports and four Gigabit SFP uplink ports, it provides a centralized connectivity platform for installations containing numerous network-connected devices.

The 24 RJ45 ports support Gigabit Ethernet connectivity and PoE+ power delivery, with up to 30W available per port. The switch provides a total 370W PoE+ budget, allowing compatible powered devices to receive both network connectivity and power through supported Ethernet connections. Before installation, calculate the combined power requirements of all connected devices to ensure the deployment remains within the available power budget.

Four Gigabit SFP ports provide additional uplink connectivity for compatible fiber network infrastructure. This makes the RCH240 suitable for larger AV installations where multiple rooms, equipment areas or network segments need to be connected through a centralized switching platform.

The switch provides a 56 Gbps switching capacity and supports a range of managed networking functions. Available management capabilities include VLAN configuration, multicast control, Quality of Service, access control, DHCP functions and 802.1x authentication. These features allow network administrators to organize connected equipment, manage traffic and configure network access according to the requirements of the installation.

For AV deployments, the YealinkRCH240 is designed to work with supported Yealink room systems and other compatible AV over IP equipment. Its 24-port configuration provides substantially more connection capacity than smaller room-oriented switches, making it appropriate for installations with numerous cameras, room consoles, microphones and other networked endpoints.

The physical design uses a metal chassis with integrated cooling fans and an internal power supply. The rack-mountable form factor allows the switch to be installed in compatible equipment racks or structured AV network environments. The operating temperature range is specified from -10°C to 50°C, while the storage range is -40°C to 75°C.

The RCH240 is identified by model RCH240 and part number 1303228. The supplied package includes the network switch, power cable, CLI cable, silicone mats and rack-mounting hardware. Product documentation also identifies the switch as supporting 24 Gigabit PoE ports, four Gigabit expansion ports and a 370W PoE budget.

For a professional installation, plan the network topology, rack space, uplink requirements and total PoE power demand before deployment. The RCH240 is supplied as one complete switch unit and is intended for indoor network and AV infrastructure applications.
