The PoE IP devices only will draw whatever power it needs. You can power 10W IP devices by using the 60W PoE injector but not the other way around. Some infrared PTZ cameras need more than 30W PoE+ power. This 60W PoE++ injector will ensure you have sufficient power for your device.
The industrial hardened PoE injector accepts wide range of voltage input (between DC24V-DC56V) and regulates it to standard POE output. It provides flexible power options including the 24V solar panel power system. Now the solar panel power system can be 328ft far from the edge devices by taking advantage of POE.
The surge could be absorbed by the cat5e/cat6 cable and transmitted to both ends. Grounding the PoE injector as well as the edge device can introduce the surge to the ground and protect your system from damage caused by the surge impact.
