The SpeedyFiber 8-Fiber MPO Male Single-Mode Fiber Loopback Module is designed for testing and verifying 40G/100G QSFP+ and QSFP28 transceivers featuring 8-fiber MPO interface in single-mode parallel optics networks. It links the Transmitter (TX) and Receiver (RX) positions of MPO transceiver interfaces for fast, accurate loopback verification.
How It Works
The loopback module connects TX and RX channels of an MPO transceiver in a closed loop, allowing technicians to verify signal integrity and transceiver performance without requiring a full fiber link. It can also be used in combination with MPO trunk and patch cables to speed up insertion loss testing of optical network segments and troubleshoot network failure nodes.
