This device converts your RJ45 internet (ethernet) signal into MoCA Coaxial. Use your ethernet-over-coax connection between your access point and your router to improve your WiFi connection.
Important: please buy at least two devices to enjoy the high speed MoCA - you need one device to convert to ethernet-over-coaxial, and another to convert the coaxial connection back to a signal your router/computer/game system can use. Unlike Wi-Fi, MoCA is based on coaxial cable, a shielded metal wire. That can minimize the external interference. Also the attenuation of the cable is very small, less than 8dB per 100 feet. Even with a 60dB path loss, you still can get a full-speed connection. It is almost comparable to Ethernet. Plug and Play set up with no need to configure the Coax to Ethernet Adapter or re-configure your router.
