- LED Alignment - The bridge radios require direct line-of-sight to connect to each other, and the built-in LED rings on each radio give you a visual indicator of where to aim each one. If the radios are mis-aligned, more of the ring will light red. As the radios pick up each other's signal, the rings turn blue. A solid blue ring on each radio means they are positioned correctly.
- 5 GHz Redundancy - In order to achieve speeds of up to 1.7+ Gb/s, the radios utilize a 60 GHz signal to transmit information. At 60 GHz, the signal can attenuate due to solid objects or inclement weather getting in the way. This is why a more robust 5 GHz redundant backup signal for the radios to use if needed, but if used, networking speeds will be diminished.
