- MANAGED TRAFFIC CONTROL FOR INDUSTRIAL NETWORKS Organize PLCs, HMIs, controllers, and other Ethernet devices into separate network segments with IEEE 802.1Q VLANs. QoS prioritizes selected traffic, while IGMP snooping limits unnecessary multicast forwarding. Rate limiting and broadcast storm suppression help control excess traffic, with ACLs and port isolation providing additional control over communication between devices.
- NETWORK REDUNDANCY WITH STP/RSTP/MSTP Build redundant network paths with spanning tree protocols that help prevent loops and restore connectivity through an alternate path when an active link fails. Four Gigabit SFP slots provide flexibility to use two fiber ports for a redundant ring while retaining two for additional connections, supporting network expansion without consuming the eight local RJ45 ports.
